WCAG 2.2 accessibility
audit checklist
All 55 Level A and AA success criteria (31 at A, 24 at AA), each with a plain-English note on how to actually test it. Tick items off as you go - your progress is saved in your browser. No signup, no email required.
A checklist is a coverage aid, not a conformance verdict. Automated tooling catches roughly a third of real issues, and several criteria here can only be judged by a human using assistive technology. Ticking every box means you have considered every criterion - not that the product conforms.

If you are covered by Indian regulation
WCAG is the technical core, but Indian mandates layer extra expectations on top. Your report should map findings to whichever of these applies to you:
- IS 17802 (BIS) - India's statutory accessibility standard, carrying legal weight through the RPwD Act 2016.
- RPwD Act 2016 - the underlying obligation to make services accessible to persons with disabilities.
- GIGW 3.0 - additional content, governance and quality requirements for government websites and apps.
- RBI - accessibility expectations for banking channels, including net-banking and mobile banking.
- SEBI - accessibility requirements for market intermediaries and investor-facing platforms.
- Publish an accessibility statement that reflects reality - an overstated claim is itself an audit finding.
- Keep dated evidence: methodology, scope, tools, assistive technologies used, and re-test results.
